The median deal value of fintech merger and acquisitions (M&A) in Europe fluctuated considerably between 2014 and 2019. 2018 saw the highest M&A deal value for fintech companies at a median level of 62.5 million U.S dollars. Compared to other industries, this was an above average deal size in both Western Europe, and Eastern Europe.
Since 2020, the analysis provides figures for the EMEA region instead of only Europe.
