Opinion on women sacrificing their career for children in Italy 2018, by gender

In 2018, a survey asked Italian individuals aged between 18 and 30 their opinion about women giving up their careers to take care of their children. 39 percent of female and 27 percent of male respondents believed that this situation was not fair. However, a large part of respondents among both female and male interviewees stated that it was moderately fair for women to sacrifice their career in order to take care of the children.
