Credibility of presidential candidates on key campaign issues in France 2022
With the presidential elections less than three months away, a survey was conducted on French people's opinions on the issues at stake in the election campaign. When asked about the credibility of the different candidates on these issues, the top answer given, no matter the issue, is that none of the candidates are credible.
Among these candidates, however, it is the incumbent president who is most often perceived as credible. The subjects for which he does not come out on top are the environment, for which Yannick Jadot is considered the most credible, social inequalities, a theme for which Jean-Luc Mélenchon ranks first, as well as issues of a terrorism and immigration, for which the French seem to be more convinced by the far-right candidates.
