According to the criteria set out by the source, this data deals only with sea voyages that began in the Americas, and does not include voyages that made several stops in the Americas after originally setting sail from Africa.

Spanish Americas

While the Spanish empire was the largest European empire in the Americas, the total number of slaves who disembarked in the Spanish Americas during the transatlantic slave trade was much lower than the number of disembarkations in Brazil or the British colonies. In contrast to the transatlantic slave trade, however, the Spanish colonies were the most common destination for slaves sold during the intra-American slave trade; this includes Spain's Caribbean colonies, particularly Cuba, which was the destination for over half of all slaves destined for the Caribbean.
