Russia's domestic e-commerce market grew in size considerably in recent years. In 2021, the segment earned 3.1 trillion Russian rubles, and in 2022, the revenue amounted to nearly five trillion Russian rubles. Cross-border e-commerce was negatively affected by the war in Ukraine and the subsequent exodus of international companies from Russia.
