Taiwan: reasons for not consuming plant-based food alternatives by age 2021

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in November 2021, around 33 percent of 16 to 24 year-old respondents in Taiwan who did not consume plant-based alternatives said the reason was that they did not see the need for plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products. Meanwhile, 44 percent of respondents above 54 years old confirmed this reason.
