Online dating is particularly popular among the younger generation in China. According to a survey about online dating in China in August 2018, around 64.2 percent of the respondents aged 26 to 30 years had tried online dating self-services. Blind dating and offline matchmaking were other common options for the surveyed people in their late twenties.
