Food wasted weekly among households in Italy 2019, by category

As of 2019, a survey was conducted among Italian households aiming at investigating the food wasted weekly. The survey results showed that 25 percent of the respondents asserted that they wasted both fresh fruits and fresh vegetables over the period considered. On the contrary, only five percent of Italian households declared that frozen products were thrown away every week.
