Prefectures with married men helping with childcare in Japan 2021
Around 54 percent of married men in Fukui claimed to frequently help their spouses in raising their children, according to a survey conducted in November 2021 among locals of the 47 prefectures in Japan. The survey results revealed that the Japanese capital Tokyo ranked second to last, with only 31 percent of married women residing in the metropolis receiving help from their spouses with childcare.
