Consumer views on brand sponsorship in Canada 2019
During a December 2019 study of the state of sponsorship in Canada, when asked about their views on the presence of sponsors at festivals and sporting events, 72 percent of Canadians agreed that sponsors made a positive contribution to their experience of such an event. What is more, 85 percent poof respondents believed that sponsors are essential to securing funding for these events. Only 24 percent of Canadians thought there were too many sponsors at festivals and sporting events.
