Share of video-on-demand subscribers in Denmark quarterly 2023, by age

In the first quarter of 2023, the share of Danes subscribing to video streaming services, such as Netflix, HBO Max, or TV2 Play, increased the most in the age group from 45 to 54-year-olds. Nearly 80 percent of people of this age had a VOD subscription, up from 72 percent of respondents in the previous quarter. By contrast, 20 percent of Danes aged 75 years and older and around 95 percent of people aged 16 to 24 years subscribed to those platforms.
