Purchased volume of pineapples for processing in South Africa 2000-2019
In 2018/2019, the preliminary purchased volume of pineapples for processing in South Africa was nearly 87 thousand metric tons, recording an increase of 22 percent from the previous year. Overall, from 2000 onwards, the volume of purchased pineapples followed a decreasing trend, ranging from 148.5 thousand metric tons and 64.1 thousand metric tons.
