Cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in Algeria 2020-2021

The coronavirus (COVID-19) spread in Algeria at the end of February 2020 and caused the first two confirmed deaths on March 12, 2020. Since then, the cumulative number of coronavirus deaths increased daily, reaching a total of 2,836 deceased people by January 17, 2021. The month of April registered the highest variation in the daily mortality rate, with a peak of 30 new cases of death on April 9, 2020.
