Younger generations are more likely to use buy now pay later than older generations in the United Kingdom in 2020. This according to a survey held in the first half of 2020, and asked respondents whether they were using BNPL or not. Millennials - respondents born between 1981 and 1996, according to the source - used the payment options the most. Gen Z followed the same trend, with half of the respondents from this age group saying they used buy now pay later. The source states this "is no surprise", citing the high social media activity of a company like Klarna.
