U.S. COVID-19 coronavirus contact tracing app usage by age 2020

According to a December 2020 survey of U.S. adults, only 7 percent of respondents aged 65 and older were using a contact tracing app on their mobile phone to trace the spread of COVID-19. Additionally, 20 percent of respondents aged 35 to 44 years reported that they were also using contact tracing apps on their mobile phones to trace the spread of COVID-19.
