U.S.: Consumers' diet changes in the past decade 2019

In 2019, among respondents in the United States who had changes in their diet during the last ten years, the most frequently given answer was the limitation of sugar intake. Approximately 16.1 percent of respondents stated that they reduced sugar intake in the past decade. The second and third most frequently chosen answers were an increase in the amount of fruit and vegetables eaten and eating less carbohydrates, with approximately 15.1 and 14.1 percent of respondents, respectively.
