Respondents supporting law against discrimination South Korea 2020, by gender
According to a survey conducted in May 2020, more than 85 percent of male respondents and nearly 90 percent of female respondents in South Korea stated that a law must be established that comprehensively prohibits various kinds of discrimination. Since a bill on anti-discrimination was first submitted to the South Korean National Assembly in 2007, several bills have followed, but each time sparked a great deal of controversy.
