UK: change in offline shopping since COVID-19 2020-2021

Over the past year, a significant number of consumers in the United Kingdom (UK) have reported changes in their usual shopping behavior. Specifically, since January 2021, about half of shoppers in the UK have been buying less in-store or offline as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In contrast, online shopping has increased exponentially.
