From March 2020 to onwards, internet sales in household goods compared to the same months in the previous year saw an unprecedented increase due to the impact on the coronavirus pandemic. However, sales fluctuated after October 2020 and registered a negative trend in October 2022 (less 11.9 percent), before increasing by 10.2 percent in November 2023.
