Spain: knowledge of online marketplaces 2023

During a survey conducted in 2023, nearly half of the online shoppers in Spain were familiar with the concept of a marketplace and could accurately define it. Meanwhile, 26 percent claimed to be aware of online marketplaces, but their provided definitions were incorrect. The remaining quarter of respondents were unaware of what an online marketplace entailed.
