Opinion on getting married in China 2020, by age group
According to a survey conducted among Chinese respondents, over 44 percent of young respondents aged between 21 and 25 years were looking forward to getting married, the highest among all age groups. However, when it came to having children, a higher percentage of young people prefered to stay childfree. Only 10.5 percent of respondents aged 21 to 25 years thought it was important to have children, significantly lower than 56.5 percent among respondents between 31 and 35 years old.
