According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021 in the Philippines, 62 percent of respondents stated that they subscribed to multiple streaming service providers because the shows they were interested in were spread across various providers. Other main reasons for subscribing to more than one streaming service provider were due to interests in having more variety and choice of content, flexibility, and interests in watching original content provided by selected steaming providers.
