In 2022, about 1.12 billion chicken were dressed for meat production in the Philippines. Meanwhile, there were about 13.66 million ducks dressed for meat production in the country. In 2021, about 1.34 million metric tons of chicken meat were produced in the Philippines. Despite this, the volume of imported chicken meat to the country has slightly increased in recent years.
