
Anti-fraud support capabilities used by e-merchants in the U.S and Canada 2021
The United States and Canada each relied heavily on cybersecurity alerts to help combat fraud in 2021. Over half of the surveyed e-commerce merchants in both countries reported the use of cybersecurity alerts as a supportive capability to prevent online fraud. Artificial intelligence and machine learning models were the least common support capabilities listed by respondents, as only 18 percent of the surveyed merchants in Canada reported their use.
