England Women's football team: Twitter hate accounts owners 2022, by gender
In the run-up to and during the UEFA Women's EURO 2022, a report found that 61 percent of Twitter accounts that were posting hateful content targeted at the England team appeared to be men. Overall, one-third of hate posting accounts appeared to be women. Additionally, the majority of online abuse faced by the women's England team was generalized abuse, and 20 percent was sexist abuse.
