Facebook: presence of listed hate groups on the platform 2022
According to a report conducted in June 2022, 49 percent of white supremacist groups that were listed on Facebook as hate groups had a presence on the social media platform. Additionally, this social media presence included 57 Facebook pages and 10 Facebook groups. Moreover, the Southern Poverty Law Centre (SPLC) and the Anti-Defamation League named 226 white supremacist hate groups, whilst Facebook listed only 78 of these.
