During a survey of U.S. consumers conducted in October 2022, it was found that Spotify's paid subscription service was considered to be a must-have source of entertainment by 76 percent of responding men and 74 percent of women. YouTube's free service was mentioned as essential entertainment sources by 70 percent of male respondents and 64 percent of female survey participants.
