Time spent watching video content in the U.S. Q1 2019, by screen

Watching video on a computer amounted to five minutes per day in the first quarter of 2019, half the daily time spent in the previous year. Time spent watching live TV was 267 minutes, also down from the 2018 figure. More adults watched video content via a TV-connected device in 2019 than had done so the year before, and time spent consuming video via an app or the internet on a smartphone also increased.
