GB adults on social media job application checks 2023
According to a survey conducted amongst adults in Great Britain in 2023, 40 percent of respondents strongly supported the sharing of personal social media profiles during a job application if the position included working with children. A similar share of respondents felt the same for a job that involved working with vulnerable people. Overall, 27 percent of adults in Great Britain strongly opposed the sharing of social media profiles with a prospective employer.
