Among both genders, Facebook had the highest share of daily users as 62 percent of women and 43 percent of men used Facebook at least once a day. The second most frequently used social media platform was Whatsapp. Regarding some platforms, differences occurred between the two genders. Daily YouTube usage was considerably higher among men than women, whereas women used more Instagram on a daily basis than men.
