Growth of media ad revenues in the U.S. 2019-2021, by medium

According to most recent calculations for media owners advertising revenues in the United States, the projected national TV advertising revenue (excluding cyclical events) would decrease by 13.6 percent in 2020, and including cyclical events, mostly presidential elections, the drop would amount to 13.2 percent. The medium is expected to rebound in 2021, with 2.9 and 4.3 percent growth respectively. The steep declines are predictions of the impact of the coronavirus on the industry.
