In June 2022, Subway Surfers the most popular iPhone gaming app in the United States with over 715 thousand daily active users (DAU). Creative gaming platform Roblox was ranked second with 448 thousand daily users via iPhone. Roblox gained global popularity during the first wave of coronavirus lockdowns in early 2020 and has remained in-demand ever since as young gamers use it to socialize online.
