Italy: incidence of mobile devices on total online purchases 2013- 2018

The incidence rate of purchases through mobile device (tablet and smartphone) on total e-commerce purchases in Italy increased steadily from 2013 to 2018. Over the period of consideration, purchases via smartphone increased from barely six percent to over 26 percent of total online purchase in Italy. During the same period, purchase using a tablet fluctuated slightly but remained stable, accounting for approximately five percent of the total.
