Effects of price increases on soft drinks due to sugar tax UK 2016

This statistic shows the results of a survey in which respondents were asked how much the price of soft drinks would have to increase by to discourage them from buying any in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016. A majority of 24 percent of respondents believe a 50 percent increase in price would discourage them from buying soft drinks, followed by 22 percent who believe current prices are already too much.
