Why are you no longer trying to cut down the amount you eat of the following?*
Reasons for no longer reducing gluten or dairy / lactose consumption UK 2015
This statistic shows the results of a survey in which respondents who have previously tried to cut down on gluten or lactose / dairy were asked why they are no longer doing so in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2015. A majority of both groups experienced temporary health issues at 21 and 18 percent respectively. Interestingly, a larger proportion of respondents who previously cut down on gluten believed it was a fad at 17 percent, whereas only eight percent of those who cut down on dairy cited the same reason.
