Energy drink brand preferences in the U.S. in 2017 and 2018, by age This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted from October 2017 through March 2018 among 3,000 adult Americans on their preferred energy drink brand. The results were sorted by age. During the survey, 16 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 stated that their preferred energy drink brand is Red Bull; 8.4 percent of respondents aged 50 and older said the same.
