This statistic presents the consumer expectations regarding purchasing directly from a brand manufacturer's website versus a retailer with multiple brands in the United States as of June 2017. According to the findings, 54 percent of consumers responded that their main purchasing expectation towards a brand manufacturer's website was the availability of more comprehensive information and guides about the product and category being sold; this is in comparison to purchasing directly from a multi-brand retailer instead.
