For the most part, between 2020 and 2022 the share of visits to e-commerce websites from social media referrals in the United States stayed steady across devices, with tablets seeing the most variation. Near the end of 2021, the percent of visits to e-commerce sites from social media platforms on both tablets and smartphones began to decline ever so slightly, but picked back up again in 2022.
