Girls, boys, women and men - everybody wants to be a superhero. At least, they want to dress up like one during this year's Halloween celebrations, a survey by Statista
of Americans. Most people will either buy or make their own costume, however, 29 percent of those asked said they have used costume rentals in the past, which seems a plausible solution for the annual dilemma of having to choose a costume you have not worn before but needs to be original enough so it can pass as a great Halloween costume.
Despite the fact that Halloween decorations have been around in the store's for weeks already, the majority of Halloween shopping doesn't start until October. Only 12 percent of the survey's participants have purchased their Halloween gear in September, the majority tends to buy their goodies in the last two weeks of October. But where do they get their ideas from? Well, the majority get them from Facebook, a clear winner when it comes to inspirational sources for Halloween.
