that provides advertising information as the company looks to become a bigger part of the 2020 race. The ad archive provides names, addresses, payment information, and impressions for organizations that pay for politically motivated advertising on the platform.

, with campaigns spending over a half a million on political ad spending so far this year. Political groups in Canada spent about $469,766 on ads, while German political groups shelled out around $29,000 throughout 2019.
Snapchat has launched a mobile news channel on its platform for the 2020 campaign as the social media site attempts to be relevant for this election cycle. Last year was a tough year for the company, as daily active users decreased. Snapchat is looking to politics to engage users further as they rebound from its tough financial year.
