Investments in independent European productions in Italy 2017, by publisher
Data from 2017 regarding the investment shares in independent European productions in Italy indicated that Discovery was the Italian publisher with the highest share of investment, as it made up almost 30 percent of the total. La7 followed with 25 percent of the total investments in the productions. On the other hand, the Italian public broadcasting company Rai accounted for only 16.2 percent of the total.
