Mediaset had the highest advertising revenue among Italy's leading broadcasting companies in 2021, with almost two billion euros. Mediaset's ad spend was more than double the figure recorded by Rai, 703.7 million euros. Overall, the 2022 ad revenue of all five of Italy's broadcasters decreased compared to the previous year.
