Mexico: expenditure on fish & seafood 2016-2018

According to a household survey carried out in Mexico, quarterly expenditure on fish and seafood in the country was equivalent to 7.23 billion Mexican pesos in 2018. Two years before, this value was equal to around 6.29 billion. This rise on expenditure is parallel to that of an increase on per capita consumption of fish, where the volume of fish consumed per capita was equivalent to 14.81 kilograms in 2017.
