Number of spoken word audio content listeners in the U.S. 2014-2019
According to a study conducted in the United States in 2019, in that year there were a total of 121 million people aged 13 years or older who listened to spoken word audio content each day. The number of consumers doing so has increased steadily each year, and grew by 16 million in just five years.
