Total meadows and pastures area in Chile

The area occupied by permanent meadows and pastures in Chile has remained constant since 2008. In 2016, approximately 140.15 thousand square kilometers of land in this country were used to grow herbaceous forage crops, either cultivated or wild, for a period of at least eight consecutive years. Interestingly, Chile's forest areas have been increasing since the 2000s.
