Ethanol fuel sale price in Colombia 2011-2022
In 2022, the price for ethanol fuel sales in Colombia averaged 12.56 thousand Colombian pesos per gallon, the highest price achieved in the period under consideration. In this year, the ethanol fuel price was roughly double the minimum average price of 6.4 thousand Colombian pesos per gallon in 2014, and increased by more than 30 percent compared to 2021. In most Colombian departments, ethanol fuel is to be added to commercialized gasoline at a minimum mandated blend of 10 percent.
