Raw materials used for biodiesel production in Brazil 2021, by type
Soybean oil is by far the main feedstock used for biodiesel production in Brazil. In 2021, more than 4.9 million cubic meters of this feedstock were consumed for this purpose. Meanwhile, around 524 thousand cubic meters of bovine fat were used. That year, over 6.8 million cubic meters of raw materials were used in biodiesel production in Brazil.
