Argentina's ethanol fuel production is derived from molasses (including sugar cane and reconverted sugar) and corn feedstocks. In 2023, 1.8 million metric tons of corn was used as a feedstock for ethanol fuel production, while 1.85 million metric tons of molasses was consumed as a feedstock.
