A survey conducted by Vase.ai on Malaysian online shopping behavior in 2020 found that 43 percent of respondents shopped for clothing during the 12.12 sale period. Also known as the Double 12 Sale, popular online shopping platforms like Lazada, Zalora, Qoo10 and KLOOK were some of the participating e-commerce retailers during this sale. Other popular items during this sale period were beauty and hygiene products at 30 percent.
