Coronavirus active cases in Africa as of January 19, 2021, by country

As of January 19, 2021, Africa had 487,931 active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19). South Africa was the leading country, followed by Tunisia. The countries reported 173,571 and 45,656 people still infected with the disease, respectively. By the same date, the cumulative number of coronavirus in Africa reached more than 3.32 million, while there were 80,938 deaths due to the disease, and 2,755,482 recoveries.
